Becoming a member of The Golf Swap Shop is easy!

Firstly, you will need to be at least 18 years of age, if you meet the required criteria, the next step is to click on ‘My Account/Register’ tab at the top of the page and proceed with completing the registration form. You can opt to become a customer or a Seller (requirement) if you wish to Sell or Swap products via the website.

To complete the registration form, firstly you will need to decide whether you would like to be a ‘Customer’ or a ‘Seller’ and click on the appropriate field to highlight this (this can be changed at any time by going into ‘My Profile’ and changing from a ‘Customer’ to a ‘Seller’ then clicking on ‘Update Profile’). Next, it is time to create a username that will be visible for all other users to see when you have listed products, making offers or purchases, etc, this does not have to be your name. It is recommended to use a name and numbers for example: BogeyBob123

Next, you will be required to fill in your address details and a valid email address for all correspondence.

Finally, you will need to create a password of at least 8 characters, including at least one capital letter, one number and one special character.

Once you have added all the required details, click on the ‘Register’ tab at the bottom, you will then be asked to add your address details before clicking on the ‘Save’ tab. At this point you will become a member of the Golf Swap Shop and be entitled to list products for Swap or for Sale.

You will then be directed to ‘Stripe’. All your payment card details will be held by Stripe who will deal with all your received funds.

Stripe will allow you to receive the funds directly once you have sold your listed products. Firstly, you will be required to add you email address and (GB) phone number, next you will see a box asking for your industry i.e.: Clothing and accessories. Next it will ask you for a website URL or you can choose ‘Product description’ as the website only allows golf related products you can enter ‘Golf Products’ into the box.

Stripe will ask for your account details, so it is able send you the funds once you have received payments for your products via The Golf Swap Shop website. You will receive a confirmation email from Stripe to confirm your email address.

On further occasions when you would like to visit The Golf Swap Shop to view your account, this can be accessed by clicking on the My Account/Register tab at the top of the page, then by clicking on the ‘Log in’ tab and entering your credentials.

To view your Stripe Dashboard, once you have logged in, click on ‘My Products’ – ‘Wallet’ – ‘Go To Stripe Dashboard’.
